OSBORN, Mo. - This Friday, June 5, is the Budweiser Shootout at US 36 Raceway. The Sprint Series of Nebraska and Non-Wing Sprints headline the event. The IMCA Stock Cars, E-Modifieds and Pure Stocks are also racing. The Non-Wing Sprints portion of the show pays $1,000 to win and $200 to start. The Sprint Series of Nebraska pays $700 to win and $250 to start. Both sprint classes have heat races bonuses as well as $75 goes to each heat race winner, $50 to second and $25 to third. OSBORN, Mo. – Due to overnight rains both Wednesday and Thursday night, US 36 Raceway officials have canceled racing for June 5 at US 36 Raceway. The Bud Shootout is postponed to June 19. The property and track is too wet and with the recently reworked track surface officials want to continue to strive for a smooth racing surface for both drivers and fans.
